Warning signs
- Unverifiable mandates or rapidly changing representatives
- Refusal to identify the legal contracting entity
- Assays or licences without traceable source documents
- Pressure for advance fees outside written terms
- Inconsistent product, quantity, location or price information
- Requests to bypass banking, customs or compliance procedures
